The program is aimed at building sustainable and scalable startups in Cameroon by providing seed funding, training and mentorship for start-up growth while preparing them for venture capital investments. With the low rate/number of startups ready for VCs funding within our communities, ANC stock investment ltd discovered that about 95% of the startups fail not for the lack of effort or ideas for growth, but because they miss out on the fundamentals of business.
It is based on these challenges and facts that we launched the Start-up accelerator program which is a unique way to support early-stage, growth-driven companies through training, education, mentorship, and financing. Startups enter the accelerators for a fixed-period of time (6 Six Months) as part of a co-hort of companies.All of the founders we accept have a solid product in market or have a prototype that is very innovative and ready for testing. At least half of the startups we accept have significant traction and revenue. We do not invest in business plans, decks, or vain ideas.
The accelerator program is one with a process of intense, rapid, and immersive education, practice and test markets activities aimed at accelerating the life cycle of the young innovative companies, compressing years’ worth of learning-by-doing into just a few months to accelerate growth as well as to help these young innovative companies build a strong founding team and business model while investing to drive growth.
